Welcome to my pictures page of Soviet Marshals. It is a collection of additional pictures on the subject I found in various places of the Internet! Soviet General Ranking: In the Soviet military ranking system, there are one to three stars. At the height of the military, there are about 1,800 generals together. There had been four stars, but the implementation is temporary. Rank above three stars will be the Marshal ranks. In Russia today, as there are fewer number of military forces, ther ranking had scaled down. There are one to four star-generals, plus one marshal.
